From mid-January to the end of March, we are thrilled to offer a unique event: Whale Watching for humpback whales along the stunning coasts of Samaná and Miches in the northeast of the Dominican Republic. Departing from Punta Cana, Bayahíbe, or any other destination, you’ll embark on an unforgettable adventure through lush landscapes, mountains, and the sea.

Meet in your hotel lobby for transportation through the Eastern Plain, surrounded by green pastures and quaint villages.

Arrival at Las Cañitas Dock:

Arrive at the dock to board the boat that will take you to the humpback whale sanctuary.

Whale Watching

Enjoy a 2.5-hour boat ride where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. Create beautiful, unforgettable memories.

Cayo Levantado (Bacardí Island):

After whale watching, disembark at Cayo Levantado for a delicious buffet lunch featuring traditional Dominican cuisine, served right by the sea.

Free Time at Cayo Levantado

Relax on the beautiful white-sand beaches, take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, or unwind under the shade of coconut trees with a refreshing Cuba Libre.

Return Journey

Board the boat again to cross the Samaná Bay back to Las Cañitas Dock, where you will take the bus back to your hotels in Punta Cana, Bávaro, Bayahíbe, etc.
